Will the super sonic jetliner TU-144 (Charger) ever fly again? I seriouly wish to see her (77115) fly again in the sky...

yep, the Charger fascinates me since childhood too... the one in Monino leaves such a depressive impression. After the cooperation with NASA 11 years ago I think it's very unlikely that it will fly again. And there's also not much footage of her time in active duty, even though I remember having seen some on one DVD.

I guess current economic situations leave no room for the TU-144 to fly again, and the same is true for the second AN-225. In addition, they don't store these jets safely, they stand on the outside and start to rust. It's sad. But at least on MAKS we saw the TU-144 available on static display.

Well, kinda very sad after all. Our generation, we have no chance at all to enjoy a super sonic flight. Previously Concorde was too expensive, nobody can afford her ticket. I also love the AN-225 (Mriya) & Buran with Energia rocket attached on her.

How about the TU-144LL reg. no. 77114 (Flying Laboratory) attached with Kuznetsov NK-321 engine? Will she ever fly again in the future? Does all the current TU-144 are air-worthiness?

Please, at least once in my life time, I seriously wish to travel on a super sonic flight. Especially on her (TU-144 reg. no. 77115 Charger with Kuznetsov NK-321 engine), Russia always the best in aircraft business.
